Problems formulating PR 571 in UV-curable inks and paints?
Solsperse 87000 – Lubrizol
One of the main challenges when formulating with organic pigments is to obtain high color development and intensity, increasing the pigment load to its maximum, while maintaining adequate viscosity to ensure system stability.
It is well known that with the use of dispersants we can solve these challenges, however, not all pigments are the same, and there are some that resist.
Such is the case of reds, specifically PR 57.1, for which LUBRIZOL has developed a 100% active product for this purpose, SOLSPERSE 87000, which seeks to improve the properties of the final coating by improving stability during storage time to prevent gelling problems
Advantages of using this dispersant:
- Color development
- Improved flow and leveling
- High color intensity
- High pigment load
- High transparency
- Low viscosity
