Antioxidant – LISIDE
Would a conventional antioxidant work in polymers such as polycarbonate, polyester or even polyamides (NYLON)?
MP Resins feature a molecular structure in which the ester bond is resistant to hydrolysis and the combined chlorine atom is highly stable, giving the coating excellent resistance to water, salts and corrosion.
Among other advantages, they provide good dispersion and wetting when used with organic pigments, even in high-solids systems, allowing the pigments to develop their full colour.
APPLICATIONS:
- Anti-corrosion coatings, even under extreme outdoor conditions.
- Widely used in swimming pool coatings due to their excellent resistance to acids and alkalis.
- Coatings for galvanised steel and other non-ferrous substrates (concrete, microcement, fibre cement).
- Road marking paints.
- Marine coatings.
- Other high-performance industrial coatings.
BENEFITS:
- Good compatibility with other raw materials.
- Excellent solubility in aliphatic and aromatic hydrocarbons, among others.
- Good adhesion to metals.
- Excellent thermal stability, allowing force drying.
- Can be used with a wide selection of solvents, pigments and extenders.
