PowerAdd – Lubrizol
Lubrizol is moving the industry forward by introducing a new post-addition additive technology for powder coatings.
This means there is no need to go through the extrusion process to provide the finished coating with the following properties:
- Textured effect, with PowderAdd 9553.
- Matt effect, with PowderAdd 9566.

- Convert defective batches (craters, pinholes, bumps…) into fine-textured coatings that can be successfully commercialised.
- Reduce inventory by adjusting the matting level through post-addition.
- Correct batches that do not meet the required matting level.
