For this reason, CHITEC has developed water-based products that, thanks to nanometric technology, form hydrophobic emulsions and are therefore resistant to water leaching.
As self-emulsifying products, they do not require emulsifiers (resulting in less foam formation) or co-solvents (resulting in lower VOC content) to become completely miscible.
Using self-emulsifying products reduces the need for co-solvents and therefore lowers VOC content.
In addition, they offer a unique advantage: because they are emulsions rather than encapsulated products, they can be mixed together, allowing the UV absorber and HALS ratio to be adjusted as required.
- CHIGUARD 101 WB – The only liquid HALS resistant to acids and compatible with PUD.
- CHIGUARD 5582 WB – UV absorber based on benzotriazole chemistry.
- CHIGUARD 5400 WB – UV absorber based on triazine chemistry for long-lasting performance. May affect colour.
