Sincol Yellow – Union Colours
The latest version of the positive list of pigments permitted and considered safe for human health includes Union Colours’ PY 13, Sincol Yellow 1126-D41, as the preferred option.
For a pigment to be included in this list, it must have been assessed and meet the established criteria for purity, migration behaviour and toxicological properties.
Sincol Yellow 1126-D41 has a reddish shade and is recommended for manufacturing solvent-based liquid inks, offering good performance in various resin systems.
It delivers excellent results in nitrocellulose systems (chips/inks) and polyurethane systems.
